Eleanor and Park
by Rainbow Rowell
This book about first love is set in the 1980’s and is chock full of mix tapes, awkward school bus rides, and standing up to school bullies. Eleanor is the new girl who is picked on at school because she is unique and has her own style. One morning she sits next to Park, one of the cool kids. Park comes to look forward to school each morning and tries to work up the courage to speak to Eleanor. He disguises his interest in her by reading comics.
One morning he sees that Eleanor is reading comics over his shoulder and he begins to loan them to her. They finally get to know each other, become friends, and fall in love. But as we know, first loves never last forever. But can they after all?

Miranda starts to find notes hidden in secret places and realizes they are from the future. And someone she knows is leaving them for her to find and remember something. But remember what?
